### Step 3. Download Bitcoind stable from git & patch it
bitcoind 0.8.1 stable or higher. It can be downloaded from github and
it needs to be patched with an electrum specific patch.
- $ cd src && wget https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/archive/v0.8.1.tar.gz
- $ tar xfz v0.8.1.tar.gz
- $ cd bitcoin-0.8.1
